Chilly Churn™ Truffles

Ice cream wrapped in cookie dough and dipped in chocolate. These truffles are bite-size bits of deliciousness.

Ingredients

 1 cup Chilly Churn™ Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream Mix (or favorite flavor), prepared
 5 bars Dible Dough Cookie Dough
 ½ cup chocolate shell topping

Directions

Line a tray with parchment paper.

Scoop small balls (about 1 teaspoon) of the prepared Chilly Churn™ Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream Mix (or favorite flavor) and place on the tray.

Freeze for about 30 – 45 minutes or until firm.

While the ice cream chills, portion the Dible Dough Cookie Dough into 1 Tablespoon pieces and flatten into discs.

Take one frozen ice cream ball and quickly wrap it in the Dible Dough Cookie Dough, rolling into a smooth ball. Repeat to make 12 truffles.

Place the tray back in the freezer immediately after forming each truffle.  Freeze for 30 – 60 minutes or until firm.

Pour the chocolate shell topping into a small bowl.  Use a fork to dip each truffle quickly into the chocolate shell topping and place back on lined tray.  Shell will harden in 10-20 seconds.

Once coated, place the tray back into the freezer for 5-10 minutes to ensure everything is fully set. Serve.  Truffles can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
