Birthday Ice Cream Cake
Layers of moist cake, sweet, creamy birthday cake flavored ice cream, and festive sprinkles. Your party just got a whole lot cooler.
Directions
Prepare cake mix according to package instructions and pour into 2 prepared 9-inch cake pans. Bake as directed on package.
Remove cakes from oven and cool on wire rack.
When cakes are cooled, place in freezer until assembly.
Prepare Chilly Churn™ Birthday Cake Flavored Ice Cream Mix – Artificially Flavored according to package directions. Freeze as specified by the machine’s instructions. If desired add ¼ cup of sprinkles to ice cream before freezing is complete and mix for 2 minutes to blend them through.
Take a 9-inch cake pan and line it with plastic wrap, aluminum foil or wax paper. Pour the prepared ice cream into the lined pan and freeze for 2 hours to fully harden.
Place a cake layer onto a plate or cake circle
Take the hardened ice cream layer and place it on top of the cake layer after removing all the pan lining.
Top with the 2nd cake layer.
Use frosting or whipped topping to coat cake. Garnish with additional sprinkles.
This can be made with any flavor of Chilly Churn™ Ice Cream mix and any flavor cake you desire.
