Chilly Churn Frozen Custard

Ingredients

 1 ¾ cups whole milk
 1 ¼ cups cream
 1 large egg
 1 pouch Chilly Churn™ Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream Mix – With Other Natural Flavor

Directions

Add the milk and cream to a saucepan. Heat on medium heat for 5-10 minutes until the milk reaches 200℉.

Break the egg into a large mixing bowl. Stir the egg with the wire whisk and gradually add the Chilly Churn™ Vanilla Flavored Ice Cream Mix – With Other Natural Flavor. Stir for 3 minutes until all the mix is wet and forms a smooth mixture.

While stirring the mixture, slowly add the hot milk and continue mixing for 3 minutes until all the milk is added, and the mixture is smooth.

Place the complete mix back into the saucepan and return to the stove. Heat gently, while stirring constantly for 5-10 minutes until the temperature hits 175℉ and hold for an additional minute.

Cover the mixture and place in the refrigerator overnight, or until the mix is 40 ℉ or colder.

Place chilled mixture in an ice cream machine and freeze according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
